Winemaker's Tasting Notes: The Shibumi Knoll Pinot Noir has become a superstar among the varietals. It's bold and smooth with expressions of the soil that nurture this beautiful wine. The nose will draw you in with its complex aroma telling the tale of the environment in Occidental where the grapes are grown. There’s a wonderful elegance to our gorgeous, Burgundian Pinot.The first vintage was 2009.

"The 2022 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast is medium ruby-purple in color. Notes of red currant jelly and kirsch skip out of the glass, followed by hints of cinnamon stick and underbrush. The medium to full-bodied palate is plush and expressive with a lively line and herbal lift on the finish."- The Wine Palate.
