About the Wine: Located in Côte de Beaune, it is best known for a single white wine, Chassagne-Montrachet,  Abbaye de Morgeot Premier Cru. Roux-Duval's 2020 Chassagne Montrachet Abbaye de Morgeot 1er cru is a dry white wine made exclusively from the Chardonnay grape variety, produced in the Premier Cru climat of the Cote de Beaune region. Morgeot is one of the larger Premier Cru areas in Chassagne-Montrachet, and Abbaye de Morgeot is a named vineyard located within it, the land where Cistercian monks first planted grapevines in the 12th century.
