About the Winery: Figli Luigi Oddero is a family estate in Piedmont. It is distinct from the separate Poderi Oddero winery.

About the Wine: Convento is a selectively made Barolo sourced mainly from La Morra. Nebbiolo is fermented in stainless steel, with extended maceration, then aged for two years in large Slavonian-oak casks.

Tasting Notes: Lifted red fruit, savory perfume and a mineral thread meet the firm yet elegant structure of traditional Barolo.

Serving Suggestion: Give the bottle some air and serve with braised beef, mushroom risotto or aged hard cheese.
