Jolie-Ladie Syrah, North Coast 2018

About The Winery: Jolie-Ladie is a very small, boutique winery based in Sebastapool where only 500 cases of wine are produced a year by winemaker Scott Schultz. Scott was formerly the head of the wine program at Thomas Keller's Bouchon. The name Jolie-Laide translates loosely to “Pretty-Ugly”, a French term of endearment to describe something that is unconventionally beautiful.
