Winemaker's Tasting Notes: On the nose, Sassoalloro Oro offers a rich and varied bouquet: notes of ripe red fruits blend with spicy sensations and slight hints of tobacco and chocolate, resulting from careful maturation in barrique. The olfactory complexity opens up to a tasting experience where power and balance coexist harmoniously. The tannins are well-integrated and soft, the body is full and enveloping, with a long and persistent finish that leaves impressions of fruit and sweet spices on the palate.

About the Wine: Entirely produced with Sangiovese Grosso BBS11 grapes, a clone exclusively owned by the Biondi Santi family, Sassoalloro Oro comes from vineyards with excellent exposure and, in keeping with tradition, from plants over 15 years old.
