Winemaker's Tasting Notes: Ripe and juicy – with notes of rich plum, raspberry and flourless chocolate cake filling the palate. Supple yet firm tannins, along with dark, spicy notes of black currant and cinnamon are lent by the lion’s share, Cabernet Sauvignon, adding layers of intrigue and complexity to the wine, while denoting its propensity for longer term aging.

"Based on 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Caravan is very much in the dense, concentrated, structured style of the vintage. Blackcurrants, roasted herbs, cedarwood, chocolate, and graphite all define the aromatics. It's full-bodied, has a dense mid-palate, ripe tannins, and a great finish."- Jeb Dunnuck.
