About the Wine: Real de Asúa is CVNE's limited-production, single-vineyard Rioja from the 2.37-hectare Carromaza plot in Villalba, Rioja Alta. The 2021 is 100% Tempranillo, hand-harvested and double-sorted, fermented with native yeasts in French oak vats, then aged 12 months in new Tronçais French oak. Only 14,493 bottles were produced.

Tasting Notes: Floral and expressive, with blackberry, plum, dark cherry, ink, mineral notes, and warm spice. The palate is medium to full-bodied, fresh and concentrated, with powerful, polished tannins and a long, energetic finish.

Serving Suggestion: Pair with grilled lamb, ribeye, braised short ribs, roast pork, or aged Manchego. Decant for 45 to 60 minutes if opening now.
