Tasting Notes: "Now in its 21st vintage, this Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from Kenefick Ranch, Giannone Vineyard, Starr Vineyard —a classic Rutherford site —and Haymaker on Howell Mountain, as well as Oso Vineyard in Pope Valley. Aged for 22 months in 80% new French oak, this is a silky, satiny, and nuanced expression of Napa Cabernet from owner Macauley (Mac) Watson and winemaker Kirk Venge. The medium- to full-bodied palate exudes elegance, framed by a baseline of crunchy apple-skin tannins that support fantastic pure red berry fruits, juicy plums, and rich brown baking spices. The dry finish is marked by cool, wet slate minerality, adding tension and complexity to this polished, beautifully balanced vintage."- Decanter.
