Condado de Haza Crianza 2020

Critical Acclaim: 92 pts James Suckling; 91 pts Wine Spectator.

Winemaker's Tasting Notes: On the smell there are black fruit aromas such as blackberries and blackcurrants. Subtle floral notes, such as violets, come through with hints of liquorice, a characteristic trait of the Tempranillo grape. Also roasted coffee-bean notes emerge, together with touches of vanilla brought by the wine's aging in barrel. A fresh, fruity and full entry on the palate with well-integrated acidity. Length of flavor is medium to long, with a creamy, sweet sensation coming from the wine's aging in oak

"Oak spices, hazelnuts and mocha to the strawberries and red plums. Juicy and expressive on the palate with a medium to full body rounded by firm tannins. Fluid, creamy and long. Drink or hold."- James Suckling.

"Shows a nose of fragrant, appealing smoke and grilled herb notes, which are a subtle overtone for flavors of black raspberry, violet, black olive and ground anise and white pepper. Fresh and well-balanced, with lightly chalky tannins firming the finish. Drink now through 2028."- Wine Spectator.

Varietal: Tempranillo.
