Tasting Notes: "The star of the show is the 2013 Côte Rôtie Lancement, which comes from one of the top terroirs in the Côte Blonde region of the appellation (it lies just above the Côte Blonde lieu-dit). Made from 100% Syrah, partially destemmed and aged 24 months in 50% new oak, it has an inky color to go with polished notes of black raspberries, charcoal, wood smoke and crushed flowers.
