About the Wine: Collina Dalla Valle, translating from Italian to “Hill of the valley”, is the introductory wine into the brand. This red blend is created from the younger vines on the property and offers a more approachable profile in its youth.

Winemaker Tasting Notes: The 2022 Dalla Valle is a study of the fresher and more approachable portions of the estate vineyard. A Cabernet Sauvignon dominant vintage for this wine comprising of 81% of the blend, with 19% Cabernet Franc contributing to the harmony of the wine. Notes of satsuma plums, strawberries and cream interplay with a crimson red brightness and an estate signature seamless tannin profile. Savory herbs come through on the palate that add lift and complexity into the wine through the finish. This wine is ready to be savored today, yet those with patience will be rewarded over time. 

"Cabernet Sauvignon-dominated (there's 12% Cabernet Franc), the 2022 Collina has a deep ruby/purple hue as well as a great nose cassis and redcurrants intermixed with classic spice, tobacco, and gravelly earth notes.
