Critical Acclaim: 93 pts Jeb Dunnuck; 90 pts Robert Parker's Wine Advocate.
Winemaker's Tasting Notes: The nose is dominated by classic Chardonnay characteristics of citrus, very present stone fruit, honey blossom, and lemon rind. On the palate the fruit is reminiscent of citrus, baking spice, toasted almonds and ripe green apple. The finish is long, and with intense minerality and refreshing acidity.
"Brought up in 10% new French oak, the 2021 Chardonnay Los Alamos Vineyard is a richer, subtly buttery Chardonnay offering beautiful orchard fruits and spicy wood, medium body, nicely integrated acidity, and an overall soft, supple, approachable style that's already impossible to resist."- Jeb Dunnuck.
"The 2021 Chardonnay Los Alamos Vineyard is scented of quince, crushed almonds, saline and rocky undertones. The light-bodied palate has mineral-driven fruit and tangy acidity that lends this wine a shimmery character, and it has a bright finish."- Robert Parker's Wine Advocate.
Varietal: Chardonnay.
