About the Winery: Domaine Garnier et Fils farms vineyards in the northern reaches of Chablis, including Maligny, Ligny-le-Châtel and Villy, with an emphasis on its limestone and marl soils.
About the Wine: This is the domaine's village-level Chablis, not Petit Chablis or Premier Cru. Made from Chardonnay with native-yeast fermentation, it is aged on its lees in a combination of stainless steel and large oak foudres.
Tasting Notes: Green apple, lemon and pear meet a delicate flinty note. The palate is bright and focused, with a clean, mineral finish.
