Critical Acclaim: 93 pts James Suckling.
About the Wine: Pesquera Tinto Reserva is made from 100% Tempranillo grapes, aged in American oak barrels for 24 months and then a further 12 months in the bottle.
Tasting Notes: A rich and intense nose of sweet black fruit and sweet spice, such as vanilla and clove, from the oak maturation. Juicy dark fruit and floral flavors on the palate are balanced by defined acidity. There are hints of smokiness on the mid-palate and the finish is long and persistent.
"Aromas of plums, mulberries, rosemary, olives, walnuts and vanilla. Full-bodied with creamy tannins. Round and velvety with plenty of ripe fruit and sweet spice. Polished, pretty finish with excellent length. Drink from 2022."- James Suckling.
Varietal: Tempranillo.
