About the wine: Summer Dreams is the newest wine project by Jayson Woodbridge, of Hundred Acre. For this debut, it is a collection of wines from unique micro-vineyards across western Sonoma Coast. Each wine is from hillside vineyard sites chosen for their generous slope ranging from 900 – 1900 feet above sea level and unique sequences of Goldridge soil. Goldridge soils are rare, fine-grained sandy loam known for excellent drainage, and a characteristically light and fluffy texture. These soils give the wine texture, dimension, acidity, and length that allows the wines of this area to compete with the very best Chardonnay and Pinot Noir around the world.
Tasting Notes: "Another spicy, complex, fresh 2021, the 2021 Pinot Noir Super Chill has some classic, Burgundian leafy herbs and underbrush notes as well as a beautiful core of raspberry and dark cherry fruits. It's vibrant, medium to full-bodied, has riveting purity, and ultra-fine tannins. This is legit sensational Pinot Noir. Drink bottles over the coming 7-8 years."- Jeb Dunnuck.
"Medium ruby-purple in color, the 2021 Super Chill Pinot Noir needs a bit of swirling to bring out a complex perfume of garrigue, violets, crushed rocks, and forest floor giving way to a gorgeous core of pomegranate, kirsch, and fresh raspberries. The medium-bodied palate is tightly knit with stacked layers of red berries and minerals, framed by silt-like tannins and refreshing acidity, finishing very long and fragrant.."- Wine Independent.
