Winemaker's Tasting Notes: Intense garnet red. Both on the nose and in the mouth notes of ripe red fruits and jam together with hints of toasted tobacco and sweet spices. Very soft and velvety on the finish with a sweet and fine tannin. Pairs well with red meat, seasoned cheese.
About the Wine: A special selection dedicated almost every year to our founder, Luigi Arnulfo. The finest grape clusters from the estate are harvested in an overripe state to produce a Barolo with an even deeper color. It has great persistence on the palate, making it a wine that best interprets the typical Barolo of Bussia. The label reproduces the one designed by Luigi Arnulfo for his 1883 and 1990 Barolos—a true pioneer!
