"Just bottled, the 2021 Syrah Estate Grown is a very pretty wine that shows both the influence of the cooler growing season and the lighter touch that defines the Stolpman wines these days. A rush of sweet floral and spice notes melds into a core of red/purplish berry fruit, licorice, leather and tobacco. The aromatics are especially beguiling. I imagine the 2021 will be even more expressive once it has had time to settle down."- Vinous.
