Winemaker Tasting Notes: The primary goal in bottling this wine is to produce a pinot noir that speaks of the terroir of the Russian River Valley as a whole and best reflects the character of the vintage. Aroma: Spring time in the forest, flowers and new growth along with wild berries. In the mouth, more structure and tannic than previous vintages, but still supple. Flavors of wild dark berries and cardamons. Typical of the 2016 vintage for Russian River Valley pinot noirs, darker fruits with a bit more muscle. Seriously good juice. Like all of the Cuvee de Trois blends, the emphasis is on creating a wine that drank well upon release but one that is surely capable of rewarding with some aging.
Varietal: 100% Pinot Noir
