Critical Acclaim: 91 pts James Suckling; 91 pts Decanter; 90 pts Wilfred Wong.
Winemaker Tasting Notes: A strong purple color with violet reflections, this noble red wine has mineral aromas coming from ripe peppers, spices and fruits of the forest accompanied by a subtle chocolate note and smoked hints coming from selected barrels. With gentle tannins in mouth, it mixes prunes and ripe blackberries with fresh eucalyptus and mint notes that add to its complexity.
"A richer expression of cabernet franc, showing black fruit, tea leaves, dark olives and graphite. Medium to full body with very firm, fine-grained tannins. A hint of wet-stone character, too. Well made. Drink or hold.”- James Suckling.
“Restrained and elegant nose of fresh fruit, while the palate has supple tannins and a lovely smoky finish.”- Decanter.
Varietal: Cabernet Franc.
