About the Winery: Chateau Caronne Ste Gemme is a Bordeaux estate just south of Saint-Julien in the Haut-Medoc. Its grand vin is a classic Bordeaux blend, and was classified as a Cru Bourgeois Superieur of Haut-Medoc in 1932 and Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel in 1966. The chateau takes its name from the Gaelic word carona, meaning "little spring". 

Serving Suggestion: Classic meat dishes, veal, pork, beef, lamb, duck, game, roast chicken, roasted, braised, and grilled dishes.

Varietal: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot.
