Tasting Notes: Notes of rhubarb, red cherry, Chinese 5 spice and roses dominate the nose, while earth, mushroom, exotic spices and flowers create a long and complex pallet. Ideally, open an hour before serving but do not decant.

About the Winery: Caroline Parent produces wines from a variety of family vineyards located in both Cote de Beaune and Cote de Nuits. Her style favors the elegance and the finesse of the wines which are anchored in the timeless tradition of Burgundy. The vineyards are all farmed organically, with some biodynamic vineyards as well. Volnay is known for power, and while her Volnay typifies this trait, there is a silky texture and beautifully balanced finish.
