Turnbull Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

Critical Acclaim: 91 pts James Suckling; 91 pts Jeb Dunnuck.

Winemaker Tasting Notes: Notes of dusted blackberries, plum, and cherry lead to a back-drift of toast and fleeting tobacco. Supple creamy tannins widen the dark fruit midpalate, lending to a lifted and layered finish. This wine widens and rises in amplitude and velocity with elegance and balance, showcasing the incredible beauty of the 2019 vintage.

"Some dried-herb character to the baked blackberries and graphite on the nose. Rich, smooth and flavorful on the palate, swathed by dark cherries, cassis and firm yet juicy and polished tannins. Drink or hold."- James Suckling.

"Lots of plums, darker fruits, chocolate, and incense notes emerge from the 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley, a dense, sweetly fruited, pleasure-bent 2020 that’s already drinking nicely. It should keep for 8-10 years and should certainly put a smile on your face."- Jeb Dunnuck.

Varietal: 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 2% Malbec.
