Liquid Farm FOUR Chardonnay 2017

Critical Acclaim: 94 pts Jeb Dunnuck; 92 pts Robert Parker's Wine Advocate.

Tasting Notes: "From the Sta. Rita Hills and brought up in 15% new French oak, the 2017 Chardonnay Golden Slope boasts a medium gold color as well as a beautiful bouquet of orchard fruits, salted caramel, white flowers, and plenty of marine and seaside, iodine-like notions. Beautifully textured, medium to full-bodied, with integrated acidity, it's a classic effort from this team that will be better this time next year and keep for a decade."- Jeb Dunnuck.

About the Wine: Liquid Farm got its start in 2009 with a mere FOUR barrels of Sta. Rita Hills Chardonnay. As the project grew they had more barrels to work with and in 2011 they found that there were FOUR barrels that stood above the rest! Rather than blend those gems away they felt compelled to bottle them on their own, thus the FOUR chardonnay was born. Continuing in the tradition of listening to each barrel, they now look for the most stunning barrels from each vintage to produce this small-lot Chardonnay.

Varietal: Chardonnay.
