Critical Acclaim: 94 pts Decanter; 94 pts Robert Parker's Wine Advocate.

Tasting Notes: "Bertrand Dugat makes this harmonious Premier Cru blend with grapes from Craipillot and La Perrière, ageing the result in 75% new wood. It's a charming, even ethereal style that has a winning balance of sweet red fruits and crunchy acidity. Delicate and fine-boned, which is not always the case with Craipillot, it has graceful tannins and well-integrated wood. A wine that isn't trying too hard. Drinking Window 2022 - 2028."- Decanter.

“As usual, the 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru is a blend of Craipillot and Perrières—and, as I've written before, Perrières seems to dominate the cuvée's personality. Bursting with aromas of cherries, raspberries, peonies and orange rind, framed by hints of truffle and espresso roast, it's medium to full-bodied, lively and precise, built around filigree tannins and bright acids. Open and expressive, this cuvée is especially elegant this year.”- Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
